Hi,
It’s been quite a feat to win a Monthly tournament. I have been a participant here for a few years. But I took a hiatus for quite a while due to my busy schedule. As we all know about the current pandemic, work schedules have become unconventional, leaving me to have more time to commit to a Monthly Tournament.
I am based in the UK and even though I have participated in previous tournaments, I have always been knocked out earlier than I wished (I think I have only ever made the finals once). So to win this either means I have upped my word skills or the competition isn’t as strong. But I truly believe it was down to my thinking more strategically – because right from the very 1st round, players gave me a real run for my money, so to speak.
