One Player’s Take on Seeding
Got this email from a fellow tournament player. I could only wish to be in the top 8! We’ll see.

OK, so I have too much time on my hands. I did a breakdown of most of the remaining players in the tourney. Seeding them so far as to who I see the top 8 favorites are by Vegas lines. Based it on past results, scores of games, and personal matchups I have had with several.
Here is who I see the top 8 seeds remaining are :

I’m playing Sajeel now and hoping that the World Cup curse continues to WWF. Although I did wonder when I saw my opponent if I should just give up and forfeit! LOL. But nah, I’m going forward with the World Cup curse option. May need a trip to New Orleans to get a voodoo doll though!
I play Schristian1 regularly, so I know he belongs in the top three, but there is one major omission to the top eight: Zdoyle. This is a top-notch player who has been there tournament after tournament. He’s lost to top-notch champions Jcom10 in March, then Sajeel in April!! If those two weren’t there, we might be looking at a two-time champion! I would love to look at the history of both the March tournament and January (Runbarbrun) tournament. Are those two tournaments ever going to be available on the “Results” page?

Real quick, to those of you who frequently ask for games with me, I’ve had to change my username to zdoyle1. I’m not ignoring you, I promise! For some reason, wwf made me reinstall and then told me that zdoyle was already taken. So it lets people start games with zdoyle, but I have no way of seeing the games…LAME!

Well I totally agree with the ratings but I Persoally think Zlamder should also be listed he is one of the Best opponent I played outside the tourney….Wish all of you best of luck

Thanks guys for the vote of confidence. But keep in mind what happened to Brazil, England, France and Italy at this World Cup.
